A meeting of legends: old master Zubin Mehta appears with the Philharmoniker and conducts one of the most famous pieces by the (probably) gay composer Franz Schubert - his Symphony in C major, the “Great”. This will be preceded by Weber's “Oberon” Overture and Wieniawski's Violin Concerto.
