Rock/pop concert
Midge Ure probably had the most gay fans in mid-1976 when, as the singer of the boy band Slik, he sang about a love that was to last “Forever and Ever”. But as the composer and producer of the 1980 Visage hit “Fade To Grey”, his songwriting will always have a place of honor in the canon of queer classics. And the electropop evergreens he created as frontman of Ultravox (“Dancing With Tears In My Eyes”) still speak to many from the soul.

This impressive building from 1905/1906 has a long history behind it. Once a theater and cinema, then a hip concert location in the 80s, it has now returned to its roots under the name Metropol: a trendy location where current bands perform and massive parties are thrown – from hetero to queer to gay.
