Czech-born historian Anna Hájkova (photo) is a pioneer of queer Holocaust research and is known to many Berliners through talks at the Schwules Museum or articles in the Tagesspiegel. She is now presenting her new book ‘Menschen ohne Geschichte sind Staub: Queeres Verlangen im Holocaust’. A queer and feminist reappraisal of this genocide, which unfortunately still meets with much rejection, even among Holocaust survivors.
