Kaleida, consisting of British composer and producer Cicely Goulder and German-American songwriter and singer Christina Wood, have long described their music as "feminine". In doing so, the pair explicitly affirm their perspective as mothers and as a female duo asserting themselves in a male-dominated music industry, as well as women over 30 who grew up in the no-man's land between 1970s feminism and today's progressive pop culture.
