Lesbian photographer couple Bolette Berg and Marie Høeg founded the Berg & Høeg photo studio in the southern Norwegian town of Horten in 1894. They created the first photographic cross-dressing images of the late 19th and early 20th century, radically questioning gender roles at the time.
