The DSO performs the oratorio by Sex and the City film music composer Aaron Zigman (photo). It tells the story of Jewish people in exile in Shanghai in the 1930s. The libretto was written by gay author Marc Campbell, who has repeatedly campaigned for LGBTIQ* rights and against marginalization.
