Ersan Mondtag has put a new spin on Brecht’s debut play Baal, casting the ingenious Stefanie Reinsperger (pic- tured) in the role of the destructive and sexist poet. With a strong expressionist aesthetic, the three-hour piece offers a genuine theater experience.
