Touko Valio Laaksonen, better known as Tom of Finland, helped shape the gay aesthetic of the 70s and 80s with his hypermasuline figures. Now, the artist’s long awaited biopic – shot in Loftus Hall, Funkhaus and other spots in Berlin – is screening at MonGay before hitting German cinemas Oct. 5.
